You will find that most coffee houses have a House Blend. This is a good way to "test the water's," as it were. House blends are usually made up of what that particular business considers their best beans. Their biggest seller, they will usually put every effort into making their house blend pleasing and dependable. However, they are also democratic; trying to please the majority of their customers. Don't hesitate to ask for a special blend.
Popular house blends usually consist of fine beans from Colombia, Costa Rica or Brazil combined with fancier specialty coffee's such as Kona's, high grown Venezuelan's or high grown Kenyan's. High grown African coffee is also popular in house blends, as well as fine Indonesian coffee.
